Amelia is one of the most amazing little girls you could possibly ever want to meet. Amelia has an unbelievable amount of character for such a young person; because of everything that she has been through she has developed into a strong willed young Madame already. If Amelia doesn’t want to do something then she won’t hold back on telling you.

 

Amelia has an amazingly cheerful outlook on life; no matter what she has thrown at her she always greets it with a smile. It was the way she met every challenge that kept all of her family strong enough to keep going through her treatment, nothing seemed to knock her back and we all drew from her strength and pure courage that gave us belief she would get through. Amelia even surprised all of the medical staff around her by just how well she would rise to everything thrown at her and overcome them.

 

Amelia knows what she wants and it generally involves PINK! This is something very close to her heart, everything should be pink or pink related. She really is a girly girl, not just pink but things like “my little pony” and playing with her babies (baby Annabel). Through the last 18 months of her treatment we have had to endure a choice of films that she has had a major passion for, we started with the classic “Annie”. Then we progressed into another classic “willy wonka and the chocolate factory” – this was watched so much the DVD has started to distort, but helped Amelia though BMT. Fireman Sam also featured highly but it had to be the classic, the new style just wasn’t any good!  

 

Amelia is truly an inspiration and a breath of fresh air to everyone around her and anyone she meets.
